About this place

The Taipei Fine Arts Museum was officially opened on December 24, 1983. Located in Yuanshan, North District, Taipei City, it covers an area of 20,442 square meters and has 11,741 square meters of graphic display space. As Taiwan's first modern art museum, the Taipei Fine Arts Museum has high ideals and goals since its planning. Functionally, it organizes and curates contemporary art exhibitions, collects and archives representative works of Taiwan's art development, studies art academics, promotes art education, and promotes international exchanges, in order to internally integrate citizens' lives with the museum, and externally promote Taiwan's art development to keep pace with international art trends.
