About this place
In 1853 AD, there was a fierce fight among immigrants from Monga. The people of Tong'an County failed, so they snatched the golden statue of the Xiahai City God in the flames and retreated to Dadaocheng. In 1859, they built the Xiahai City God Temple, which became the center of faith in Dadaocheng.
