The Arena is the first international large-scale comprehensive stadium in Taiwan. It is divided into a main hall and an auxiliary hall. The main hall is a multi-purpose gymnasium that can be used for multiple sports competitions, exhibitions, art performances, concerts, gatherings and other large-scale activities. It has 15,000 spectator seats and has 48 VIP boxes, the first of its kind in China. The auxiliary hall has an 800-seat ice rink and a health and leisure center. It is planned to have a gym, dance studio and squash court.
