About this place

The Park Department took over Fuzhou Mountain Park in 1990, and compiled a budget in 1993 to dismantle the ground features. After successively removing the ground features, it was greened and beautified in a way that maintained the original style. It also built a pavilion based on the opinions of mountain friends to integrate with the original park, giving Taipei citizens a new place to wear and a better place to relax. The park is located on the hillside next to Xinhai Road and Wolong Street. It covers an area of approximately 172,488 square meters and is approximately 105 meters above sea level. It was originally the Fuzhou Mountain Cemetery. Since the park was established, the planning has focused on natural ecological conservation, with extensive planting of trees. The forest is complete, the ecology is rich, and the scenery is pleasant. In addition to necessary soil and water conservation and In addition to the disaster prevention facilities, the rest of the man-made facilities are based on the principle of minimization and easy management and maintenance. Hiking trails are set up along the way. Along the way, insects and birds chirp, the air is fresh, and pavilions are set up for rest. You can overlook Guanyin Mountain and Datun Mountain, and have a bird's eye view of the Da'an District cityscape. It is also the best place to view the whole view of 101. It is truly a paradise of tranquility in the bustle. The planting plan is based on the principle of preserving the natural features of the park. Only the entrances to the hiking trails, resting platforms and pavilions are planted with shade, bird and butterfly attracting trees, flowering trees, shrubs, etc. The former cemetery has now become a garden frequently visited by hikers and a good place for ecological teaching.
