About Taipei 101 TAIPEI 101 is located in the most elite area of ββTaipei and is the largest engineering project in the history of the domestic construction industry. This project was mainly planned by Taipei Financial Tower Co., Ltd., a joint venture of 14 domestic companies, and professional teams at home and abroad. It was carefully designed by international architect Li Zuyuan. It transcended the design concept of a single volume and used the auspicious number "eight" (a homophone of "fa") as the design unit. Every eight floors is a structural unit, which are connected to each other and stacked layer by layer to form the whole. It forms a rhythmic beauty in appearance and creates a new style of international skyscrapers.
